Wrestlers who have leveled allegations of sexual harassment against Wrestling Federation of India President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh will now appeal to BJP women MPs to stand together in their fight. Vinesh Phogat said on Sunday that it has been 22 days since her dharna at Jantar Mantar, but no BJP woman MP has supported her. He said that we his daughters should also come with him and support him in this fight. Vinesh said that she has decided that she will send an open invitation letter to all BJP women MPs at their homes to join the fight for justice, as well as email them.
Write to BJP MPs to become their voice
On behalf of the wrestlers, 43 BJP MPs including Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani have been written that being women MPs of the ruling party, they have high expectations from them. She is pleading him to help her and save her honor by being her voice. Women wrestlers have finally written to the women MPs of BJP to take out their time and come to Jantar Mantar and show them the way. Vinesh said that she will take this letter to their homes through fellow wrestlers.
Appeal to go to the district headquarters
On the other hand, Sakshi Malik appealed to the countrymen that on May 16, people from all over the country should go to their district headquarters and give a memorandum in their support. This will give support to their dharna. It is worth mentioning that the wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar have given them time till May 21 to get justice. Wrestlers have said otherwise they will take a big decision after this.
