Italy’s football club Inter Milan has confirmed its place in the final of the UEFA Champions League. He defeated his own country club and arch-rivals AC Milan late on Tuesday (May 16). The home ground of both teams is the San Siro Stadium in Milan. Both the clubs play their home matches on this ground. Inter beat AC Milan 1–0 in the second leg of the semi-finals. Earlier, he had won the first leg 2-0. In this way, Inter won the semi-final 3–0 on aggregate and made it to the final.
Captain Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal in Inter Milan’s second leg. Martinez has won the World Cup with the Argentina team in the same season. He can become the player to win the World Cup and Champions League in one season. In the final, Inter Milan can face either Real Madrid or Manchester City in Istanbul on 10 June. The second leg of the semi-final between City and Madrid will be played on Wednesday (May 17). Both the teams were tied 1-1 in the first leg.
