Legendary golfer Tiger Woods has appealed to a court to block former girlfriend Erica Hermann’s lawsuit against him because Woods and Erica had a secret agreement to settle any disagreement or dispute privately through an arbitrator. Erica Herman, 39, has accused him of sexual assault. According to media reports, Erica used to work at the star golfer Woods’ restaurant in Palm Beach.
Erica’s attorney, Benjamin Hodas, alleges that Woods forced her to sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) and threatened to fire her if she did not do so. Woods’ attorney JB Murray has denied Erica’s allegations. It is not clear whether Woods will attend the court for the hearing. Herman reportedly dated Woods for five years and lived with him at his South Florida home.
The two separated in October 2022. Harman has since been seeking $30 million in damages as well as relief from the NDA. Herman filed the documents in Martin County Court on Friday through his attorney. Meanwhile, Woods’ attorney filed documents proving that he had a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) with Harman.
