What is Panchak Kaal?
According to astrology, the combination of five constellations (Dhanishtha, Shatabhisha, Poorva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada and Revati) is called Panchak. In these five days, the Moon travels through all the four phases of these Nakshatras, from which the Panchak period begins. Panchak Panchak comes after every 27 days.
Don’t do auspicious work during Panchak period
- No auspicious or auspicious work should be done during Panchak period.
- Marriage, shaving or naming should not be done.
- These days traveling towards south direction should be avoided.
- If the house is being built during Panchak, then a roof should not be put on it.
- It is believed that by doing this work during Panchak time, you may have to face losses.
