World number one tennis player Carlos Alcarez of Spain defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece 6-2, 6-1, 7-6 to enter the men’s singles semi-finals of the French Open tennis. Now he will face 22-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic of Serbia. He gave up a breakpoint in just one game and converted his sixth match point to wrap up the match in two hours and 12 minutes.

He became the youngest player since Djokovic in 2006–07 to reach the last-8 at Roland Garros.
