Russia has decided to exit the International Space Station (ISS). The leader of the country’s space agency Roscosmos has disclosed this in a media interview. No exact timeline has been revealed for when Russia will separate from the ISS. However, it is being said that Russia will continue to work on the International Space Station for some time to maintain the Russian Orbital Segment (ROS). Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin said in an interview with Russia’s state-run news agency Tass that the decision to exit the International Space Station (ISS) has already been taken.

The US space agency NASA said in March that the war between Ukraine and Russia would not affect the ISS program. In the midst of this war, three Russian cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveyev and Sergei Korsakov flew to the ISS.
