Gandharvas were singing and Apsaras were dancing in the festival. One of these Gandharva was Mallyawan. There was a beautiful dancer named Pushyavati. During the festival, Pushyavati and Malyavan were infatuated with each other and forgot their modesty in the presence of everyone.
