How to upload photos on Instagram from desktop or laptop

You must also be using the Facebook-owned photo-video sharing app Instagram. On the Instagram app, users get many features like photo-video upload and share, stories. But the features have been kept limited in the web version. In the web version, you can only see the photos and videos shared by your friends or say only those you have followed. Instagram is a popular app, there is no option on the web to upload a photo or a video. This is the reason why one has to use the Instagram app to upload a photo or a video. But just not anymore, we are going to tell you such a trick, by trying which you will be able to upload photos through Instagram web in a pinch.

If you also want to upload photos or videos from Instagram web, then first of all you must have the latest version of Google Chrome downloaded. Note, you follow the steps given by us only through Google Chrome. First of all, open Google Chrome on your computer or laptop. After this go to www.instagram.com and login id. After opening the ID, click on the three vertical dots visible on the top right hand side.

After that go to More tools and then click on Developers tools. Let us tell you that if you want, you can also use the shortcut to open the developer tool, for this you have to press Ctrl + Shift + C simultaneously. After opening the Developer option, you will see the Elements option at the top. On its left side you will see two icons, out of which you have to click on the first and second icon (Cursor and Toggle Device Toolbar). Then reload the Instagram web page. After the page is reloaded, click on the ‘+’ appearing at the bottom. After clicking on the + icon, select the photo which you want to download. Caption, location and tag people (if you want to) in the post. After that click on the share button appearing on the top left.
