Using these tips, you’ll save a copy of all your contacts, text messages, media, apps, Wi-Fi passwords, and your app data.

By the way, it can be troublesome to make backups of each of the necessary things one by one. The easiest way to back up your phone is with a third party backup tool. We used Titanium Backup and it’s great, but it will require root access to your Android phone, which is not something common users can understand. Its interface is too complicated for average users.

Helium is a great app for those people who don’t know about rooting on their phone. Its interface is also good, but it works on selected Android phones of the international manufacturer. If you have bought a mobile from Micromax, Karbonn or Lava along with many other companies then you will not be able to use Helium. In addition, to use Helium, you will need to have your phone’s drivers installed on your computer.
