How to activate UAN on EPFO ​​website

Normally your Universal Account Number is mentioned on your pay slip. If the number is not present on your pay slip, contact your company’s finance department.

If you haven’t checked your PF balance till date, then visit the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) website and activate your UAN by following the steps mentioned below.

1) Firstly of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization Website Click on Activate Universal Account Number (UAN) at the bottom right corner of the page.
2) By entering Universal Account Number, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Captcha text, click on Get Authorization Pin.
3) You will receive OTP on mobile.
4) After this, verify all the details on the EPFO ​​page and then click on I Agree.
5) After that enter the OTP and click on Validate OTP to activate your Universal Account Number (UAN).

After following the steps mentioned above, your Universal Account Number (UAN) will be activated and you will receive the password on your mobile. You will have to wait six hours before you can log in to the account. After six hours of activation of Universal Account Number, you will be able to check PF balance easily.
