For the last few days, Jantar Mantar of New Delhi is in discussion. India’s Olympic medalist wrestlers including Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik have accused Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Singh of sexual harassment. These wrestlers are protesting demanding his arrest and resignation from the post.
According to the wrestlers, they will not get up from the dharna until Brij Bhushan is sent to jail. So far two FIRs have been registered against Brij Bhushan at Connaught Place police station in Delhi. One of these FIRs has been registered under the POCSO Act and the other FIR has been registered on the allegations of the remaining six wrestlers. However, Brij Bhushan has dismissed the allegations.
