Easy way to find UAN number

Employees are given the benefit of EPF ie Employee Provident Fund. As we all know very well that some amount is deducted from the salary and deposited in the EPF account. How to find your UAN (Universal Account Number)

To find the UAN (Universal Account Number) go through the below mentioned steps carefully:

1) First of all EPFO ​​member service Portal Go to
2) Click on ‘Know Your UAN Status’ on the bottom right hand side.
3) Here you will get three options – Member ID, Aadhar Card or PAN. You can select any of these options.
4) Fill in the information asked on the page – such as your name, date of birth, registered mobile number, registered email address and captcha.
5) After this click on Get Authorization Pin.
6) On the next page, click on the box next to I Agree.
7) After this an SMS will be received on your mobile from EPFO, OTP will be received in it.
8) Enter the OTP on the EPFO ​​website.
9) Then click on Validate OTP and get your Universal Account Number (UAN).
10) You will also get an SMS from EPFO ​​in which your Universal Account Number (UAN) will be written.
