Silva equals Lionel Messi’s record
Bernardo Silva, who has scored two or more goals for Manchester City, has achieved a great feat. Silva became the third player to score two goals in the semi-finals of the Champions League. In this case, he equaled Lionel Messi of Argentina and Robert Lewandowski of Poland. Messi did it in 2011 and Lewandowski did it in 2013.
Guardiola and Angolotti achieved special achievements
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola and Real Madrid coach Carlo Angolotti achieved a special feat. He became the third coach to win 100 matches in the Champions League. Carlo Angolotti (107) and Alex Ferguson (102) hold the record for winning more matches than him. On the other hand, Angolotti holds a huge record. He became the man who coached the most number of matches in the Champions League. This was Angolotti’s 191st Champions League match as coach. He left behind Alex Ferguson (190) in this case.
