Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina and America’s Sofia Kenin advanced to the third round with wins on the fourth day of Wimbledon tennis on Thursday. America’s Sofia Kenin, who reached the qualifying round, defeated China’s Wang 6-4, 6-3, winning her second match in a row in the main draw. Svitolina defeated Belgium’s Elise Mertens 6-1, 1-6, 6-1 in a three-set match in the second round.
