Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal and one of the greatest football players of all time, has achieved a great feat. He became the first player to play 200 matches in international football. Ronaldo also made the occasion special in the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Iceland. He scored a goal in the 89th minute just before the end of the match to give the team a 1–0 win.
Ronaldo, 38, completed 200 matches for Portugal nearly 20 years after his debut. He was also honored for this achievement before the match against Iceland. Ronaldo’s name got registered in the Guinness World Records. Ronaldo gave Portugal its fourth win in Group J. The team has won four matches in four matches. Ronaldo now has 123 goals at the international level.
