Pakistan’s star snooker player and Asian Under-21 silver medalist Majid Ali committed suicide on Thursday at his hometown Samundri near Faisalabad in Punjab. He was 28 years old. According to the police, Majeed was reportedly battling depression since his playing days. According to the police, Majeed killed himself with a wood-cutter. He has represented Pakistan in several international tournaments and was the top snooker player in the national circuit.
