The England team put on a fine performance as they thrashed North Macedonia 7-0 in their European Championship qualifying match. Bukayo Saka put in a stellar performance in England’s victory, scoring his first career hat-trick, while Harry Kane also scored two goals. After this victory, England have 12 points from four matches in Group C. Marcus Rashford and Kevin Phillips also scored for England.

England coach Gareth Southgate said that Saka had also suffered an injury during the match. Kane opened the goal in the match. He opened England’s account by scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Then shortly after this, 21-year-old Saka made the lead 2-0 in the 38th minute with the help of Kyle Walker. However, seven minutes later, Rashford scored from inside the box to increase the team’s lead to 3–0.

England continued their attacking style in the second half and they managed to score four goals. Saka scored his second goal in the 47th minute. Four minutes later, he scored another goal to complete his hat-trick. The English team did not give chances to Macedonia to make a comeback and scored again in the 64th minute. This time Phillips increased the team’s lead by taking the ball to the goal post. Meanwhile, however, England were awarded a penalty and Kane converted it in the 73rd minute.

Mbappé won France

Captain Kylian Mbappé scored the only goal as France beat Greece 1-0 in their European qualifying championship match. There was no goal in the first half. Embappé scored a penalty in the 55th minute of the second half to put France ahead 1–0 in the match. Meanwhile, Mavropenas was sent off in the 69th minute after receiving a red card, and Greece had to play the rest of the match with 10 men.
