Buddha Amritwani Why Gautam Buddha Leave Home Know Story Of Buddha…

Buddha Amritwani, Story of Mahatma Buddha Sacrifice and Penance: Mahatma Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, suddenly one day left his household. Leaving worldly and family attachments, he went towards the forest.

Buddha meditated under the Bodhi tree for about six years and thus attained divine knowledge. After gaining knowledge, he tried to remove the evils spread in the society by giving the message of non-violence, love, peace and sacrifice among the people.

It is said that Gautam Buddha was born in such a period when tyranny, discrimination, unrest, incest, superstition and customs were taking root in the society. Then a great man like Buddha was born to remove these evils. Buddha was the only person who freed people from the shackles of these evil practices.

The real name of Mahatma Buddha was Prince Siddhartha. It is said that he was very different from other children since childhood. Instead of being mischievous and playful even in his childhood, he was calm and serious and spoke very little. Most of the time he liked to sit in solitude and contemplate.

As Gautam Buddha started growing up, his nature became even more complicated. In this way, gradually his interest towards worldly pleasures also started to end. He got married and after some time a son was also born. But Buddha’s sense of disinterest went on increasing. In this way, one day Buddha left home quietly.

Why did Buddha leave home?

Some people give up their property according to their ability when there is aparigraha. Because they can connect with the soul. Parigraha i.e. attachment to wealth does not lead to attachment with the soul and spiritual bliss is not attained. Some people’s aim in life is only to gain knowledge, then such people adopt non-attachment. Means, apart from the soul, they are not able to keep attachment with anything. No house, no family, no property and no other thing. This was also the reason for Buddha’s renunciation. He only wanted to connect with his soul.

Mahatma Buddha’s penance

Buddha had many questions in his mind and to find answers to these questions, he started penance. But even after years of penance, he could not find answers to his questions. Then he went and sat under a tree and decided that he would not get up from here without knowing the truth. This tree is now known as the Bodhi tree. It was under this tree that Buddha attained complete and divine knowledge. In this way Buddha took six years in search of knowledge and truth and at the age of 35 he became Mahatma Gautam Buddha from Siddhartha Gautama.
