Ingredients to make Brown Bread Dahi Vada
- 3 slices bread – brown
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 cup curd (yogurt)
- 1/4 tsp black salt
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp tamarind paste
for garnishing
- 1 handful coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp grated carrot
How to make Brown Bread Dahi Vada
- Add a little salt to the curd and whisk it well so that all the lumps are removed. In a separate bowl, add enough milk to the bread slices and knead the dough. If you want, you can put a few drops of oil in your hands to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands.
- Now make small balls from the bread bowl and keep them in a separate serving bowl. Pour curd on the bread balls and let the bread balls soak in the curd.
- Now sprinkle the remaining dry ingredients. Garnish with vermicelli, grated carrots and coriander leaves.
