Similar to the color scheme of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP M1 motorcycle, the Aerox 155 has been offered with an all-black color treatment. It gets Yamaha MotoGP branding with visor, front apron, front mudguard, side panels, rear panel and X center motif.

In this scooter, LED headlight and tail light along with LED DRL light and turn indicator are also given in LED. The Aerox 155 also gets a digital instrument cluster, keyless operation, charging socket and single channel ABS for safety and traction control system. This scooter is also equipped with advanced features like Bluetooth connectivity. It has 14-inch alloy wheels on both sides.
The scooter can be connected to the Yamaha Y-Connect application via Bluetooth. The application provides various notifications including scooter mileage, riding history, parking location, battery level and maintenance alerts. The scooter has a fuel tank of 5.5-litre capacity and underseat storage of 25 liters.

The Aerox 155 gets a new generation 155cc blue core engine which is equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It is available with CVT transmission. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine that generates a maximum power output of 15 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
Aerox 155 Rival
The Aerox 155 will compete with the Aprilia SXR160. Even though both these scooters have been kept in the category of maxi-scooters, but in terms of power output and performance, the Aerox 155 performs better than the Aprilia SXR160.
Recently, Yamaha also gave a new MotoGP livery treatment to the R15M and Yamaha MT-15 V2.0. These models can also be bought from Blue Square outlets like the Aerox 155. Where Yamaha YZF-R15M price is Rs 1,90,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
On the other hand, the Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 is priced at Rs 1,65,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new special edition bikes feature the iconic Yamaha MotoGP branding on the tank shroud, fuel tank and side panels, which showcases the company’s racing prowess.
