India’s 17-year-old Aman Sehrawat won the bronze medal in the 57 weight category in the wrestling ranking tournament held here. Aman defeated Ray Rhodes Richards of America 10-4. Ali Abbas Rajade of Azerbaijan won the gold medal by defeating Japan’s Nishiuchi 2-0.
The other bronze in the 57 weight category was won by Beka Boojashvili of Georgia, who defeated Bazarganov of Azerbaijan. Aman had defeated Georgia’s Roberti in the quarterfinals but lost to Japan’s Nishiuchi in the semifinals. Aman got a chance in the repechage round after the Japanese wrestler reached the final.
