World Biofuel Day 2022 Date: We all have to bear the effects of climate change for some time now. Due to climate change, natural crises come and at the same time our ecosystem has also deteriorated. With this, its effect is clearly visible in all walks of life. The way humans are continuously exploiting or using biofuels on a large scale, its dangerous effect is being seen on the environment. That is why, now with the passage of time the need to use unconventional fossil fuels was understood and people are being constantly made aware about it. World Biofuel Day is observed every year on 10 August to raise awareness about the importance of unconventional fossil fuels that can serve as an alternative to conventional fossil fuels. It is being seen as a hope to save our future.
World Biofuel Day: History
World Biofuel Day is celebrated every year on 10 August in the memory of Sir Rudolf Diesel. He did the work of making diesel engines. On 8 August 1893, Sir Diesel successfully used groundnut oil to run a mechanical engine for the first time. With this, the imagination also got a new flight that in the coming time, vegetable oil can be used in place of fossil fuel. To celebrate the joy of this achievement and to make people aware, World Biofuel Day is celebrated and since 2015 the Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is celebrating it.
What is Biofuel?
Biofuel is considered an environmentally friendly fuel that can be used for the purpose of reducing carbon emissions. Biofuel is made with the help of biomass resources so it can be recycled. Biofuels are expected to help meet the energy needs of the 21st century without endangering the environment.
The use of biofuels can have many benefits
Dependence on crude oil will decrease
the environment will improve
Employment opportunities will be created in rural areas
Energy can be delivered to rural areas
Due to economic expansion, the increasing demand for transport fuel will be met
