Walmart Flipkart Join Hands With NSIC : Walmart and Flipkart, the top companies in the country’s online retail business, have tied up with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) today. After this agreement, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) across the country will be enabled to expand their capabilities. Signed for organizing Walmart Vridhi Seller Summit today in New Delhi. In this historic event, 20,000 MSMEs have been given an opportunity to complete their training under the Walmart Vriddhi Supplier Development Program (Walmart Vriddhi). On this occasion, Narayan Rane, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Gaurang Dixit, CMD, National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) were also present.

With this partnership with NSIC, more and more small businesses and entrepreneurs across the country will get an opportunity to join the Vriddhi program which is much needed for them to grow their businesses. Along with this, they will also get free training. Regular training, seminars and mentoring sessions have been organized for MSMEs under Vridhi programme.
20 thousand MSMEs got benefit
In this program, thousands of MSMEs have got registered from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities apart from metros across the country. In this, more than 20,000 MSMEs have completed the training so far. The partnership will allow the participating MSMEs the benefit of access to NSIC’s schemes, as well as channelize growth resources to all MSMEs who have registered themselves with NSIC.
