Vistara Airlines Resumes Salary And Allowances Of Its Pilots At Pre-covid Level

Vistara: Airlines company Vistara on Wednesday increased the salary and allowances of its pilots to the level of pre-Kovid-19 epidemic. In this way, the company has shown that flight operations are improving rapidly by deciding to restore the status of pay and allowances to all its pilots with pre-covid status.

Expansion made pilots’ salary, allowance at pre-pandemic level
Hamish Maxwell, Senior Vice President, Flight Operations, Vistara, wrote in an email to his pilots, “The monthly bonus has been reinstated for all pilots with effect from April 2022. This will be given if the April average global active hours is at least 70 ” “I am very happy to announce that the reduction in Basic Flying Allowance (BFA) has been withdrawn,” he said. Maxwell said an amount equal to the reduction in BFA will be added to the monthly bonus and will be paid to eligible pilots from April 1.
