The Pentagon said it is not currently posing a threat and is expected to remain in the US for the next few days. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken postponed his visit to China over the incident. Blinken told the Chinese spy balloon that this was a clear violation of our sovereignty. However, he also said that the lines of communication will remain open to resolve this issue.

The US has exaggerated this to defame China. The Chinese side strongly opposes it.”
