The Indian team of the Under-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup, to be held in India from October 11, left for Spain next week to play friendly international matches.
The All India Football Federation, however, did not specify which teams India will play against. “These matches are being held in preparation for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will begin in India from October 11,” AIFF said in a release. The details of the matches will be given soon.

Recently FIFA banned the Football Association of India (AIFF) for third party interference. However, with the efforts of the Indian Sports Ministry and AIFF, FIFA quickly lifted this ban. Kalyan Choubey has recently been appointed as the new President of AIFF. Now India will host the Under-17 Football World Cup under his leadership.
