The company has informed that it has registered the highest ever wholesale sales for the month of July 2022. According to the data released by the company, Toyota has registered sales of 19,693 units of vehicles last month. While the company had wholesale sales of 13,105 units in July last year, there has been a 50 percent increase in sales this year.

Also, comparing month-on-month sales, the company’s wholesale sales grew 19 per cent in July as compared to June 2022, as Toyota sold 16,500 units in June. Talking about Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider, this car is to be launched in the Indian market on 16 August. The company is going to launch this SUV in 4 variants, along with the option of two engines will be given in it.

Toyota is going to launch the new Urban Cruiser Highrider in the mid-size SUV segment and it is going to compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushak and Volkswagen Tigan in the market. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara is also going to compete with this car. Talking about the engine, the Highrider will get a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine with mild hybrid (for the lower variant) and strong hybrid system (for the top variant).
