But the question is when will the option of automatic gearbox be given with the new Citroen C3. At launch next month, the India-spec Citroen C3 will get two gearbox options, a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual gearbox, depending on the engine choice.
But the automatic gearbox is believed to be used exclusively with the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. For now, Citroen India has not announced whether it plans to offer the Citroen C3 with an auto box.

The company had informed that we may introduce a 6-speed torque converter transmission from the Euro-spec Citroen C3 (offered with the same engine) here on the Citroen C3 as well. This car can be launched in a total of two variants. The new Citroen C3 can be launched in the market with two engine options. It is powered by the first 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 80 bhp. On the other hand, it can get a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which gives power of 109 bhp.
Apart from this, information has also been revealed about the size of this car. The India-spec Citroen C3 is said to measure 3,981 mm in length, 1,733 mm in width and 1,586 mm in height, while its wheelbase could be 2,540 mm. It is expected that the Citroen C3 will be available in two variants including Live and Feel.
This is the first car from the company, which will be launched as a Made-in-India product. The company will launch this car at a competitive price. It is believed that it can be launched at a price of Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom). With the Citroen C3, the company wants to hit the pulse of the market.
