The Tata Nexon EV Max is equipped with a large 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which is about 33 per cent larger than the standard Nexon EV’s 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
power output
The power output of the Tata Nexon EV Max has also been increased with a larger battery pack. The electric motor of the Nexon EV Max makes 141 bhp power and 250 torque. At the same time, the standard model of Nexon EV gives 127 bhp power and 245 newton meter torque.
performance
The new Nexon EV weighs 100 kg more than the standard model. Even after this, the new Nexon EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 9 seconds. The battery weight of the Nexon EV Max is 70 kg more than the standard model.
Range
The Nexon EV Max offers a range of 437 kms on a full charge which is ARAI certified. The Nexon EV Standard offers an ARAI certified range of 312 kms in ideal condition.
charging time
Tata Motors has introduced the Nexon EV Max with two types of charger options. It includes support for 3.3 kW normal charger and 7.2 kW AC fast charger. The 7.2 kW AC fast charger can be installed at home or in the office. It takes just 6.5 hours to fully charge the car with this charger. On the other hand, the Nexon EV Max can be charged up to 80 percent in just 56 minutes with a 50 kW DC fast charger.
In comparison, the standard model comes with a 3.3 kW onboard charger that charges the battery completely in 8 hours. At the same time, with a 25 kW DC fast charger, it can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 60 minutes.
Features
In terms of features, the Nexon EV Max is updated from its standard model. It gets new ventilated seats, seed interior, air purifier, wireless smartphone charger, new center console, cruise control and auto dimming IRVM.

Tata Nexon EV Max price starts at ₹17.74 Lakh, goes up to ₹19.24 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Nexon EV Standard price ranges from ₹14.54 Lakh to ₹17.15 Lakh (ex-showroom). The Nexon EV Max is about Rs 2 lakh more expensive than the old model.
