Budget 2023-24: The round of pre-budget meeting of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman with different stakeholders has ended on Monday. Experts and economists from industry to agriculture sector have handed over the list of their demands regarding the budget to the Finance Minister. Now suggestions are being sought from common people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has sought suggestions regarding the budget from the common people by tweeting.

Budget Expectations!

On top of that, along with the global economic crisis, the possibility of recession in America and Europe has created a new challenge in front of the government. Along with giving relief to the common people from inflation through the budget, the challenge will also be to save the economy from global shocks. In the pre-budget meeting held with the Finance Minister, along with reduction in income tax, there has been a demand for rationalization of tax rules. The employment crisis has increased after Corona. So, to increase employment opportunities, the government has been demanded to bring an employment guarantee scheme on the lines of MNREGA in urban areas. From increasing the expenditure on the strengthening of infrastructure to increasing the expenditure on the social sector, it has been suggested. There has also been a demand to increase the budget allocation on education and health.
