In the Indian market, the Range Rover Sport has been introduced by the company in four trims, in which SE, HSE, Autobiography and First Edition have been introduced. The Land Rover is likely to open bookings by the end of this year, while its deliveries may start in November 2022.
Talking about styling, Land Rover has made it better. It seems that the company has finished the Range Rover Sport with style and some bold design elements. The familiar Land Rover grille is now sleeker and bleeds onto the smoked adaptive LED digital headlamps.
Now a more aggressive styled bumper has been used in this car, which gives you a great looking front fascia. The silhouette of the new 2022 Range Rover Sport is very familiar from the old car, but it all gets smooth and soft lines, which are quite heavy on the side profile.
The new 2022 Range Rover Sport has shorter overhangs and despite the 75 mm longer wheelbase, it doesn’t look much bigger than its predecessor from the outside. The Dynamic model will get different front and rear bumpers with body colored side skirts. Alloy wheels can now be availed in sizes up to 23-inches.
However, it will get 20-inch alloy wheels as standard. Door handles are flush to the sides of the car. The rear of the SUV gets attractive LED taillights that are flush with the rest of the bodywork. It is also seen that Range Rover is written on a visor like the center bar.
The roof features twin shark fin antennas and slopes back. Also, the spoiler element has also been seen at the rear. Step inside the cabin and let the minimalist design of the new Range Rover Sport continue to shine. The dashboard section of the SUV’s cabin is dominated by a large 13.7-inch driver’s display behind the steering wheel and a smaller 13.1-inch infotainment display at the centre.
Land Rover’s new Range Rover Sport is offered with multiple powertrain options including a 48V mild hybrid system and a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 2 inline six-cylinder options (1 petrol and 1 diesel in two different power trims) has been introduced.
This engine is sourced from German luxury car maker BMW which makes 523bhp along with 750Nm of maximum torque and the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Land Rover will offer the new Range Rover Sport as a full plug-in hybrid from the start.
