When will the 12th installment money come?
Let us tell you that under the PM Kisan scheme, the first installment money is given to the farmers for the period between 1 April and 31 July. At the same time, the money of the second installment is transferred between August 1 and November 30. Apart from this, the money of the third installment is transferred between December 1 and March 31. This time the money of the 11th installment of PM Kisan Yojana was transferred by PM Modi in Shimla on 31st May, 2022. The money of the second installment of 2022 will be transferred to the farmers’ account on 1st September 2022.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given every year to eligible farmer families. This amount is transferred to the account of farmers in three equal installments of two thousand rupees each. These installments come every four months i.e. thrice a year, 2000-2000 rupees are sent to the farmers’ account under the scheme. The central government transfers this money directly to the farmers’ account. So far, 11 installments of Rs 2,000 each have been transferred to the accounts of farmers.
There are many farmer families who are not eligible to take Rs 6,000 annually under PM Kisan. According to the website of PM Kisan, there are many categories of people who cannot take advantage of PM Kisan Yojana, especially those who are financially very wealthy. Let us have a look at the category of such people who cannot take benefit under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
1. Holders of institutional land cannot take advantage of the scheme.
2. These farmer families also cannot take advantage of the scheme. Their list is as follows.
– Farmer families who are sitting on any constitutional post.
Current or former Minister or Minister of State, former or current Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha MP, member of Legislative Assembly or Legislative Council, Mayor of Municipal Corporation, former or current chairperson of District Panchayat can also not take advantage of the scheme.
Central or state government employees, employees of central or state government undertakings, autonomous institutions under the government, regular employees of local bodies can also not take advantage of the scheme. However, there is no restriction on multitasking staff, Group-4 and Group-D employees.
Retired pensioners whose monthly pension is more than Rs 10,000 can also not take advantage of the scheme. (However, multi-tasking staff, Group-4 and Group-D employees have been kept out of this purview.)
Those people who have paid tax during the previous assessment year can also not take advantage of the scheme.
Professionals including doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects also cannot take advantage of the scheme who are associated with their profession.
