PM Kisan Saman Nidhi: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme has been started to make farmers financially empowered. Under this scheme, financial assistance of six thousand rupees is provided to the registered farmers in a year. This entire amount is deposited in the bank account of the beneficiary farmer in three installments.

Till now farmers have got 10 installments under this scheme. The 11th installment of PM Kisan is yet to come. The government has now made it mandatory for all the farmers registered in this scheme to do e-KYC. The last date for conducting e-KYC (PM Kisan E-KYC) is May 31, 2022. It is worth noting that the farmer who will not complete this process will not get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in future.

Ways to get e-KYC done

Farmers can complete e-KYC for PM Kisan in two ways. The e-KYC process can be completed online through the official website of PM Kisan sitting at home. Apart from this, farmers can also get their e-KYC done by visiting their nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

It is worth noting that if the farmer himself does e-KYC through OTP, then you will not have to pay any money, whereas if you go to the Common Service Center and get the e-KYC done, then he will have to spend an amount for it.

E-KYC will be done in the biometric manner of the beneficiary farmer of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi at the Common Service Center. This means that this process is completed with the fingerprint of the farmer. Along with this, the need of Aadhar card and registered mobile number of the beneficiary farmer will also be required at the Common Service Center.

17 rupees (PM Kisan E-KYC Fee) is charged for e-KYC at Common Service Center. In addition, CSC operators also charge a service charge ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 20. In this way, you may have to pay up to Rs 37 for eKYC from CSC.
