Imran Khan Bail: The tussle between the PTI chief and the current government in Pakistan is going on for a long time. During this dozens of cases were registered against Imran Khan. On the other hand, on Friday (March 24), the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan reached the Lahore High Court (LHC). Imran has sought bail in five cases registered against him in the capital. Former Prime Minister reached LHC under tight security. A two-member bench of Justice Tariq Salim Sheikh and Justice Anwar Hussain is hearing Imran’s petition.

The former Prime Minister of Pakistan reached the Lahore High Court (LHC) amid heavy rain. At the same time, during the hearing, Imran Khan’s lawyer told the judges that the PTI chairman is seeking bail to go to Islamabad where many political cases are registered against him.

To this, Justice Shaikh said that the petitioners should have approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for bail in such cases. Arguing on his behalf, the former Prime Minister told the court that the last time he had gone to Islamabad, the police had closed all the roads. Earlier on Friday, the Lahore High Court Registrar’s Office objected to two bail applications filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and former chief Imran Khan. The former prime minister, in his plea, said that he wanted to appear before the investigation team in the FIR registered against him and urged the Lahore High Court (LHC) to grant him bail fearing arrest.

On the other hand, on Tuesday (March 21), the Lahore High Court (LHC) granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in two cases. A two-member bench of LHC headed by Justice Shahbaz Rizvi heard the petition of Imran Khan seeking bail. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan personally appeared before the LHC amidst tight security.
