Mirzapur Season 3 : Netflix has been delivering movies and shows one after the other and now, Amazon Prime India has picked up the pace with 40 plus films and series that will make it to your screens very soon. At an event hosted by Indian director Karan Johar for the OTT giant, 41 titles were announced including third seasons for Mirzapur and Four More Shots Please and a second season for Made in Heaven.
To every Mirzapur fan’s delight, season 3 of the hit action crime thriller series has finally been officially confirmed by Amazon Prime Video.

Mirzapur Season 3
On April 28, the OTT platform shared an almost four-minute long clip with mini teasers about its upcoming shows and movies in India.
The snippet included four categories — new, international adaptation, returning favourites and unscripted series. While many exciting faces were seen in the clip, the third instalments for hit series Mirzapur and Four More Shots Please caught our attention.
However, the teaser did not include a clip of the crime drama starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Harshita Gaur, Shaji Chaudhary, Rasika Dugal and others. Instead of revealing the clip, the OTT platform shared the news on Instagram with the Amazon blue background and show’s title.
The caption revealed that the cast remains the same for the third season. All actors that appeared in season one and two will reprise their roles, including Fazal as Guddu. Joining him will be Golu Tripathi (Shweta) avenging her sister’s death and the dethroned don (Pankaj) making a dramatic comeback.
Mirzapur season 3 Release Date
Unfortunately, a targeted release date for Mirzapur season 3 was not shared as part of the recent announcement. Based on the production schedule of the two previous launches, fans can expect Mirzapur season 3 to release sometime between September and November 2022.

Mirzapur is an exceptionally popular title in India, with both of the first two seasons receiving a fantastic reaction from fans and critics alike.
The series is currently scoring an impressive 8.5/10 on IMDB with scores of 82% and 75% for its two previous seasons respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.
These scores, in addition to positive viewing figures on the Amazon Prime streaming platform, led Mirzapur to various awards and nominations. Across both seasons, the series has won Best Actor in a Drama (Pankaj Tripathi), Best Supporting Actor (Divyendu Sharma), Best Original Program by a Streamer and Best Drama Series.
