Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) Lionel Messi, playing his first match after serving a club ban, was booed by spectators in their 5-0 win over Ajaccio in Ligue 1. Messi had traveled to Saudi Arabia without the club’s permission and was banned for two weeks by the club. However, Messi later apologized to the club for this. Whenever he touched the ball during the match, the audience started hooting him.
Both the teams had to play with 10 players. PSG’s Hakimi was sent off in the 77th minute after being shown a red card while Ajaccio’s Mangani was sent off in the 80th minute.

Kylian Mbappe won the hearts of the fans by scoring two goals in the second half. He scored two goals in 10 minutes. Embappé scored a goal in the 47th minute to put PSG ahead 3–0, while another goal in the 54th minute strengthened the team’s lead to 4–0. Although Ajaccio’s team could not score a goal in the match, but a mistake of his made PSG’s lead 5–0. Ajaccio’s Youssef scored an own goal in the 73rd minute to give PSG a 5-0 lead.
