Baljit Kaur’s father’s name is Amrik Singh, who is a bus driver in Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation, who hails from a small village in Kandaghat tehsil of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. His mother’s name is Shanti Devi. Baljeet along with her three siblings used to help her mother in agriculture since childhood. Along with studies, she used to do agriculture.
Education of Baljit Kaur
He completed his studies from Government Higher Secondary School. At the time of school, Baljit Kaur joined the National Cadet Corps i.e. NCC. Baljeet climbed the mountain for the first time during the NCC camp. At the age of 20, he was selected for the NCC expedition to Mount Deo Tibba. Later in the year 2015, along with a 10-member team of NCC climbers, she became a part of an expedition to scale Mount Trishul. The height of Mount Trishul is 7120 meters.
