Italian Incident: In Italy, a boat fell victim to an accident, in which a total of four people died. This incident is from Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. The accident happened due to strong storm. Two foreign tourists are also included in the dead. The incident has been confirmed by the fire brigade of Italy.
According to local media reports, the boat capsized between the towns of Sesto Calende and Arona on Sunday (May 28) evening due to sudden bad weather. According to an AFP report, Fire Department spokesman Luca Kari said, “The bodies of four people have been recovered. The search operation for one person is still going on.”

According to a statement by Israel’s Foreign Ministry, a middle-aged Israeli man is also included in the dead. According to the local Waris News website, two of the other dead were Italians, in which the bodies of a man and a woman have been recovered. Along with this, the fourth victim was a Russian woman.

Regarding this accident, the president of the Lombardy region, Attilio Fontana, said that on Sunday the boat overturned due to a tornado, in which a total of 25 people were on board. The accident happened due to a sudden storm. Actually, suddenly the weather turned bad, due to which the boat overturned in the middle of the lake. 20 people have been rescued in this accident, while one person is still missing. Five of the rescued people have been admitted to the hospital.
Rescue operation still going on
According to media reports, divers are continuing the search in Lake Maggiore in the northern Lombardy region with the help of a helicopter. Significantly, Lake Maggiore, the second largest lake in Italy, attracts tourists from all over the world.
