International Mount Everest Day is celebrated every year on 29 May.
Everest was conquered for the first time on this day in the year 1953.
10 Indians Who Scaled Mount Everest: The highest peak of the Himalayan Mountains is Mount Everest, whose height is 8848 meters. Reaching this peak is the dream of every mountaineer. It was May 29, when both the climbers stepped on Everest. To commemorate this, International Mount Everest Day is celebrated every year on 29 May. Celebrating this special day started in 2008.
In the year 1953, the process of conquering Everest started and many people succeeded in reaching this summit one after the other. In 1965, Captain Avtar Singh Cheema of the Indian Army conquered this peak. He became the first Indian to reach this summit. After her, Bachendri Pal reached this peak and took the record of achieving this position by the first Indian woman. 10 Indians who were the first to reach Everest
In 1965, Captain Avtar Singh Cheema of the Indian Army hoisted the tricolor after conquering Mount Everest. He became the first Indian and the 16th person in the world to do so. Cheema achieved this feat after two unsuccessful attempts by Indian Army teams.
Sonam Gyatso and Sonam Wangyal were the first Indian siblings to climb Mount Everest. He achieved this feat in 1965, just two days after Avtar Singh Cheema.
Bachendri Pal conquered the peak of Mount Everest in 1984. She became the first Indian woman to reach this summit. She was selected to be a part of India’s first mix-gender expedition to Mount Everest.

Santosh Yadav conquered the world’s highest mountain peak not once, but twice. Santosh became the first woman to climb Mount Everest twice on 10 May 1993.
Tashi and Nungshi Malik became the first twins to scale Mount Everest on 19 May 2013. He also made a unique record by conquering Everest.
Despite being handicapped, Arunima Sinha conquered Mount Everest on the strength of her high spirits. On 21 May 2013, Arunima Sinha became the first disabled woman in the world to achieve this feat.
Malavath Poorna became the youngest girl to climb Mount Everest on May 25, 2014. She was 13 years and 11 months old when she reached the summit. He brought laurels to the country by doing great deeds at a young age.

– Anshu Jamsenpa is the first woman in the world to climb Mount Everest twice in a season.: Anshu climbed the world’s highest peak twice in a season between 16 and 21 May 2017.
Ajit Bajaj and Diya Susanna Bajaj conquered Everest on 16 May 2018. With this, a unique record was also registered in his name. For the first time a father and daughter did this feat together.
Vikas Shambhu Prasad Dimri was the first full time banker of India to climb Everest. He achieved the feat on 18 May 2018.
