Stock Market Closing On 14th March 2023: Today has proved to be very inauspicious for the Indian stock market. After opening with a boom in the morning, once again profit-booking returned in the market, due to which the market closed with a decline. At the end of today’s trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 57,900 points with a fall of 337 points below 58,000, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17,043 points with a fall of 111 points.
In the market today, except for the Pharma, Media and Healthcare sectors, the shares of all the sectors closed down. Banking, IT, Auto, FMCG, Metals, Energy, Oil and Gas, Consumer Durables sector shares closed down. The trend of decline in midcap and smallcap stocks continues even today. Of the 30 Sensex stocks, 7 closed with gains and 23 with losses, while 11 of the 50 Nifty stocks closed with gains and 39 with losses.

In today’s session, BPCL closed with 1.12 per cent, Titan Company 1.01 per cent, Bharti Airtel 0.85 per cent, Larsen 0.49 per cent, SBI Life Insurance 0.43 per cent, IndusInd Bank 0.37 per cent, Sun Pharma 0.32 per cent.
Looking at the falling stocks, Adani Enterprises closed down by 7.27 per cent, Adani Ports by 3.92 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 2.74 per cent, TCS by 2.04 per cent, HDFC Life by 1.75 per cent, Bajaj Finance by 1.75 per cent.

In today’s fall, investors have again suffered huge losses. Investors’ wealth has reduced by Rs 2 lakh crore. The market cap of companies listed on BSE decreased to Rs 256.53 lakh crore, which was Rs 258.56 lakh crore on Monday.
