India Auto Retail Sector Sales 14 Percent Increased Sales January 2023…

FADA Sales Data January 2023 India: Good news related to the country’s auto sector is coming out. There has been a lot of improvement in the supply of semiconductors. Its direct effect is coming out in the first month of the new year (New Year 2023) i.e. January. Passenger vehicles have registered excellent sales in the country this month. The Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA), an organization of vehicle dealers, has given information about this on Monday. Know by what percentage auto sales have increased in the market.

Increased demand for passenger vehicles

After the Corona Pandemic, the sales of vehicles have suddenly increased in January this year. In which, due to strong registration of Passenger Vehicles, Two Wheelers and Tractors, total retail auto sales have seen a jump of 14 percent. FADA said in its report that, in January 2023, the total sales of vehicles in different categories have increased to 18,26,669 units. In the same period last year, this figure was 16,08,505 units. That is, compared to last year, the demand for about 2 vehicles has increased in the month of January.

Commercial vehicles increased by 16 percent

In January 2023, retail sales of three wheelers have increased by 59 percent to 41,487 units. On the other hand, the registration of Commercial Vehicle Sales has increased by 16 percent to reach 82,428 units. Earlier in January 2022, the sale of commercial vehicles was 70,853 units. Last month, tractor sales increased by 8 percent to 73,156 units, compared to 67,764 units in the same month last year.

Passenger vehicle increased by 22 percent

According to FADA data, passenger vehicle registrations have increased by 22 per cent to 3,40,220 units in January. This figure was at 2,79,050 units in the same period a year ago. Last month, retail sales of two-wheelers increased to 12,65,069 units in January, while in January 2022 the figure stood at 11,49,351 units. This means that there has been an increase of 10 percent in the sale of two-wheelers.

Know what FADA said

According to the Economic Times, FADA President Manish Raj Singhania (FADA President, Manish Raj Singhania) says that the total retail sales of vehicles in January 2023 has increased as compared to the same period last year. This is still 8 percent less than the pre-covid i.e. in January 2020. Singhania also said that with factory activity in China picking up again, the global supply situation for components and semiconductors has improved. Due to this the supply of vehicles is getting better.
