How to Claim the Offer, Airtel customers are getting free Amazon Prime subscription, know how

Airtel is offering free one-year Amazon Prime subscription to its postpaid and V-Fiber broadband customers on downloading the Airtel TV app. Earlier this promotion was available only for certain users, but now it has been extended to all eligible customers. With this promotional offer, users will not only be able to watch movies and TV shows on any other platform, but it will also help the company (movie and live TV app) to challenge Jio. Let us tell you that earlier one of the country’s largest telecom operator Airtel had made the Airtel TV app free for its subscribers till June 2018.

This offer is for Airtel postpaid customers who have MyInfinity plan of Rs 499 and above. V-Fiber broadband users taking plans of Rs 1,000 or more will also get the benefit of this offer. It is not yet clear how long this promotion will last. We reached out to an Airtel representative regarding this and will update the article till we get any further information. Recall that under Amazon Prime subscription, customers get free delivery and access to Prime Video streaming. Know how to know this offer:

1. To avail this offer, customers have to app Store either play store You will need to download the Airtel TV app from And after that login with your registered mobile number.
2. Once you are logged in, scroll down and you will see the Amazon Prime banner.
3. Tap on the banner and then a dialog box will appear with information about Prime service. Tap to activate.
4. Now you will need to enter your Amazon account username and password.
5. Once the username and password are verified, your 365-day Amazon Prime subscription will begin. You will also get this information through SMS and email.

This offer is only for those Amazon users who do not have Prime subscription. If you are already a subscriber, you will have to wait for the end of your existing Prime subscription to avail this offer. Similarly, Amazon customers who have a free trial can take the offer, but then their subscription will be as per Airtel’s rules.

According to an SMS sent by Airtel, the free Prime subscription will be available as long as customers continue with the existing plan or upgrade to a higher priced plan. If they switch to a lower priced plan, the subscription will end. After one year of free subscription, customers will have to pay a fee of Rs 999.
