How Many States Are There In India?

Now there are 29 states and 7 Union Territories in India. Recently a new state was formed on 2nd June 2014. Before there were 28 states in India, the name of the new state is ‘Telangana’ it was once the part of Andhra Pradesh. Now the capital of Andhra Pradesh is Amravati and Hyderabad become the capital of Telangana. Before Hyderabad was the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
