The Indian team is out of the Hockey World Cup. In its hosting, Team India was eyeing a place in the quarter-finals for the second time in a row, but it did not get success in it. In the crossover match played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Sunday (January 22), New Zealand defeated them 5-4 in the penalty shootout. Earlier, the match was tied 3-3 till the stipulated 60 minutes.
