Hospitality Sector: In the summer season, people go out for sightseeing in large numbers. In such a situation, a huge crowd of tourists is seen at many tourist destinations. This year also a large number of people are going to hang out with family and friends during the summer vacation. Despite the increasing heat, Goa remains the most favorite tourist destination in India.

According to the report published in Live Mint, despite the rising temperature, people are ready to pay Rs 25,000 per day for luxury hotels. Even after this, up to 80 percent of the hotel rooms are full. Due to the growth in the hospitality sector, Postcard Hotel and Resort is earning a premium of up to 17 per cent over last year in its four properties. Due to this increase, this luxury hotel has also made preparations to increase its chain by one.

Tremendous growth registered

It is worth noting that in the year 2023, despite the first rains and now rising summer, a large number of tourists are reaching Goa. In such a situation, a tremendous growth is being registered in the hospitality business and other local businesses as well. Due to the increasing demand, the room rate has also increased as compared to last year. Compared to the summer of last year, this year the room rate has become costlier by 10 to 20 percent, but even after this, no effect is visible on the number of tourists.
