India In UNGA: Jamaica has expressed its gratitude for the assistance given by India during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Jamaica’s Foreign Minister Kamina J Smith said on Saturday that Kingston thanks India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his people for the corona vaccine.
‘India has been a reliable partner since inception’
Addressing a high-level session of the United Nations General Assembly, the External Affairs Minister said that India is a reliable partner. He said, “From the beginning, India was a trusted partner, whose assistance was critical to our pandemic response. India adopted a holistic and out-of-the-box vaccine diplomacy strategy. Jamaica was able to get its first life-saving vaccine from India.” was.”

Guyana’s foreign minister also praised India
Guyana Foreign Minister Hugh Hilton Todd also praised India at the UNGA. “Small countries like Guyana would have benefited immensely from India’s growth trajectory, as it has always been an economy that focuses on human development, putting humans ahead of any other form of development,” he said.
The Foreign Minister of Maldives said this in praise of India
Maldives Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid also appreciated India. He said New Delhi is a “valuable” partner in helping and meeting challenges in key areas ranging from disaster relief to economic development.
