France has appointed star striker Kylian Mbappe as the new captain of its team. Embappé will take over the captaincy in place of former captain Hugo Lloris. Hugo, 36, retired from international football after last year’s defeat in the FIFA World Cup final. Embappe will take charge of the team at the age of just 24. His eyes will now be on next year’s Euro Cup.
