Manchester United are keeping their hopes of winning four titles in one season alive. After winning the League Cup, United beat Westham 3–1 in the pre-quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Wednesday night thanks to a last-minute goal to set up a quarter-final clash with Fulham.

By the 77th minute of the game, Westham’s team was on a 1-0 lead. Benharma gave Westham the lead in the 54th minute with a curling kick. However, Brazil’s Casemiro scored, but Vaar adjudged it to be offside. United’s luck opened in the 77th minute. Westham’s Nayef Aguard’s header went into the goal. Thanks to this suicide goal, Manchester equalized 1-1.
The winning goal came in the 90th minute
The match looked to be a draw, but Alejandro Garnacho scored in the 90th minute to give United a 2–1 lead. Substitute Frederico scored in the fifth minute of stoppage time to seal a 3–1 victory for United. Ten Haag said after the win that the team displayed a will to not give up till the end and turned the match in its favor.
Fourth Division Grimsby beat First Division Southampton
Fourth Division Grimsby produced a surprise result to beat top division Southampton 2–1 in the last 16 of the FA Cup to progress to the last eight. Both goals were scored by Gavan Holohan from the penalty spot. Grimsby have reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 1939, where they will face Brighton. Manchester City will take on Burnley in the last 8. The quarter-final between Blackburn and Sheffield United decided that one of the FA Cup semi-finals would be a team from the Second Division.
Arsenal avenged defeat by Everton
Arsenal not only avenged their 0-1 defeat at Everton with a 4-0 win but also consolidated their five-point lead at the top of the EPL. Gabriele Mattinelli scored twice for Arsenal, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard scored once each. At the same time, in the EPL, Liverpool defeated Wolverhampton 2–0, avenging the 0–3 defeat against them. Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Saleh scored for Liverpool in the second half. With this win, Liverpool remain in the race to qualify for the Champions League.
