Omana Kunjamma was born in Tamil Nadu. She belonged to an aristocratic Malayalam Nair family. Omana Kunjamma’s father’s name was Govind Pillai and mother’s name was Lakshmi. Apart from this Omana Kunjamma had an elder sister named Thikkurisi Sukumaran Nair.

Since childhood, Omana was very promising in studies. He studied law after 12th. Although there were many problems in between her studies but Omana did not give up and completed her education to fulfill her dream. After this he started his career by becoming a magistrate.
