The largest number of tickets have been purchased by fans from Qatar, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, France, Argentina, Brazil and Germany. From 5 July to 16 August, a total of 5,20,532 tickets were sold during the first round of ticket sales. The highest demand for tickets sold during this period was for group stage matches like Cameroon-Brazil, Brazil-Serbia, Portugal-Uruguay, Costa Rica-Germany and Australia-Denmark. Dates for the next round of ticket sales will be announced in September. The final of the FIFA World Cup will be played on 18 December. In the World Cup to be held in Qatar in November-December this year, 32 teams are participating, which are divided into four groups of eight. Lionel Messi’s Argentina has been placed in Group-C and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal team has been placed in Group-H last.
